Specifically, there are three route plans including the route plan no. 1 (with No. 1A and No. 1B) is 105 kilometres in length; the route plan no. 2 is 110 kilometres in length; and the route plan no. 3 is 150 kilometres in length; all of three plans were analysed advantages and disadvantages at the meeting.
Based on the Company’s analysis, the route plan no. 1A is the most feasible with the proposed beginning point intersected with the East bypass of Buon Ma Thuot city at Krong Pac district (Dak Lak province) and the ending point intersected with the eastern North-South Highway at Khanh Hoa province. The project goes through five Dak Lak’s districts of Krong Pac, Cu Kuin, Ea Kar, Krong Bong, M’Drak and one Khanh Hoa’s district of Khanh Vinh. The expected full length of the Highway is 105 kilometres with a total investment of 19.500 billion VND and has four lanes. Scale of the full length after complete stage will have 6 lanes with a width of 32.25 meters; design speed from 80 to 120 kilometres per hour, average speed of 95.5 kilometres per hour; circulation time of 1.1 hours.
Van Phong economic zone located in the Northern of the Khanh Hoa province, from Nha Trang City about 50 km. Van Phong Economic Zone, Khanh Hoa province was established under Decision No. 92/2006/QD-TTg dated April 25th 2006 of the Prime Minister. Van Phong economic zone located in the North of Khanh Hoa province, from Nha Trang City about 50 km, under Ninh Hoa town, Van Ninh district with area of 150,000 hectares. In which 80,000 hectares is water surface and 70,000 hectares is ground. Van Phong economic zone consists of two main areas: Northern Van Phong is belong to Van Ninh district and Southern Van Phong is belong to Ninh Hoa town.

Van Phong economic zone is applied preferential policies in investment for areas with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions specified (Paragraph 3 of Article 16 of Decree 29/2008/ND-CP dated March 14th 2008 regulating about industrial parks, export processing zones and economic zones) such as:
Income Tax (Pursuant to Decree 218/2013/ND-CP dated December 26th 2013).

With the position is near the shipping lanes where many containers and intenational ships crossing, Van Phong has more advantages to developing international container entrepot. - The terrain and area of Hon Gom peninsula allows to build the large duty free area with the function for processing, assembly, processing, and create conditions for the carriers calling their goods from the branches sending by container and airway to process the finished products, saving the cost of production and transportation With such favorable conditions, Van Phong meets the criteria for building international container transshipment port by seaway and port services. 2. The potential for tourism development: Van Phong Bay Area has a mild climate, neglected natural landscape, abundant terrain.
